Last time I posted “4 things you can do with clothes pin” series here, here, here and here and this time, I’m challenging myself to make another 4-post series with ice cream sticks! Ice cream sticks are inexpensive crafting materials so I can experiment a lot with them. Here goes the first from the series, the hexagon pendant that is made out of ice cream sticks entirely! Scroll down for the how to!
Other crafts with ice cream sticks | Craft lain dengan stik es krim:
– Ice cream stick heart pendant
– Popsicle hook
Ice cream sticks series | Seri stik es krim:
– Arrow bookmark
– Key holder
What you need | Yang anda butuhkan:
- Ice-cream sticks | Stik es-krim;
- Pen knife or scissors | Cutter atau gunting;
- Paint or marker | Cat atau spidol;
- Glue | Lem;
- Necklace chain | Rantai kalung.
Step 1:
Measuring. Leave some space, approx. 1.5 cm from both ends of your stick and starting from there, draw a straight line every 1 cm interval.
Langkah 1:
Step 2:
Cut according to the lines. With the square pieces, build a hexagon shape and glue them. Note that you’ll need a strong glue to hold them together.
Langkah 2:
Potong sesuai garis.
Step 3:
Design the shape of the honeycomb pendant.
Langkah 3:
Step 4:
For the pieces with circular end, if you choose to make a clover, paint them green with color marker or color paint!
Langkah 4:
Step 5:
Overlap one piece on top of another to make a heart shape.
Langkah 5:
Rekatkan kedua potongan untuk membentuk bentuk hati.
Step 6:
4 hearts make a clover. Glue them together.
Langkah 6:
4 hati membentuk bunga semanggi. Rekatkan keempat-empatnya dengan lem.
Step 7:
Glue the clover(s) to the hexagon structure and chain it.
Langkah 7:
Wear it :)
Kalungkan ke leher anda :)
Or you can turn it 90 degrees to the left and get another shape of geometric pendant :)
