Chopsticks Placecard

DIY Tutorial: Chopsticks Placecard | @onelmon

Since coming to Japan, I hardly eat anything with a spoon. Everytime I buy my meal, the cashier always inserts a pair of bamboo chopsticks into the plastic bag. Honestly, I rarely use them and just toss them into the drawer. As I’m cleaning up before the summer break, I realized that they have piled up in my drawer. So rather than leaving them collecting dust, using them as craft materials is always a good idea.

Step 2:
With your pen knife, carefully split the chopsticks, leaving 1 cm untouched. You may want to slice some of the bamboo layers out. Repeat for the other pair.

Langkah 2:

What to do with the remaining part of the chopsticks? Make a pair of mini wooden chopsticks for the little kiddo!
