I made these mini felt pumpkins for contributor post at A Nest for All Seasons last year and thought of sharing it today here! They are very easy to make and require only small pieces of felt scraps. Read on to see the how to!

Saya membuat labu flanel mini ini sebagai bagian dari postingan kontributor pada A Nest for All Seasons tahun lalu dan berpikir untuk berbagi tutorial tersebut hari ini di blog ini! Cara membuatnya sangat mudah dan anda hanya memerlukan potongan kecil kain flanel. Ayo dicoba!

What you need | Yang anda butuhkan:

1. Felt | Flanel;
2. Drinking straw | Pipet minum;
3. Cotton (filling) | Kapas (isian);
4. Needle & thread | Jarum & benang;
5. Scissors | Gunting;
6. Glue | Lem.

Step 1:
Cut 8 pieces of symmetrical (or nearly symmetrical) leaf-shaped felt. Take two of them and stitch them together on their sides.

Langkah 1:
Gunting 8 helai flanel membentuk daun simetris dengan ukuran yang sama. Ambil 2 helai dan satukan dengan jahitan pada bagian pinggirnya.

And you’ll get something like this.

Hasilnya akan terlihat seperti ini.

Step 2:
Continue repeating the first step for the other 6 felt leaves. Note that the last leaf is to be joined back to the first leaf.

Langkah 2:
Ulangi langkah 1 untuk keenam helai daun lainnya. Jahit helai terakhir kembali ke helai pertama.

Step 3:
When you are done, turn the whole thing inside out (don’t worry with the ugly stitches you see, we are trying to get the messy mummy stitches here).

Langkah 3:
Setelah anda menyelesaikan jahitan-jahitannya, balikkan flanel anda luar dalam (jangan khawatir dengan jahitan yang tidak rapi, karena tujuan kita adalah jahitan mumi yang tidak rapi).

Step 4:
Stuff your filling in!

Langkah 4:
Beri kapas isian!

Step 5:
When you think it has contained enough, you can choose to close the little (bottom) hole with a piece of circular felt or you can leave it as it is.

Langkah 5:
Setelah pengisian kapas, anda boleh menutup lubang pada bagian bawah dengan jahitan atau dengan sehelai flanel kecil.

Step 6:
Turn the pumpkin upside down. Cut a small piece of black drinking straw and apply a bit of glue on it (bottom part). With a pair of scissors, make some way through the filling to give a space for the straw to stand inside the pumpkin.

Langkah 6:
Gunting sepotong kecil pipet minum, beri sedikit lem pada salah satu ujungnya dan masukkan setengah badan pipet ke dalam labu flanel.

Step 7:
Finally add a little piece of dark brown-colored felt on top of the pumpkin and you are done!

Langkah 7:
Beri sehelai kecil flanel warna coklat berbentuk bulat pada bagian atas labu dan selesailah labu flanel mini anda!
