Easy Spice Rack

DIY Tutorial: 5-minute EASY Spice Rack | @onelmon

Let’s take a break from Halloween crafts for a while to organize the kitchen today! I’ve been experimenting a lot lately, not just in my crafting table but also in the kitchen. I’m not a cooking expert and honestly, all I know is just making a toast. But a simple toast is boring if you have it everyday, so I’ve been buying spices and mixing them up on top of my toast just to see how they turn out. Glad to say, no funny and inedible toast so far ;) With the increasing number of spices I purchased, I know I need to organize them somehow and with just three things, I whipped up this super easy and quick fix! Clip-on Card Holder

DIY Tutorial: Clip-on Card Holder | @onelmon

I’m a fan of backpack bags and I use mine everyday! I prefer using a backpack because it can balance the weight on both my shoulders and it’s more unlikely to fall off. But, the downside of the bag is that whenever I need my wallet or my commuter pass, I’ll need to take it off before I can look for what I want, which is kind of frustrating sometimes when I’m in a rush (mine is a zipper type with a fold-over, double frustration!). And so I made this simple card holder to hold my train pass that I can just clip it on my backpack strap. Continue reading

Glow in the Dark – Constellation Tumbler

DIY Tutorial: Glow in the dark - Constellation Tumbler | @onelmon

Hi there! Finally, it’s summer here and I can definitely feel the heat these days. I sweat like crazy and carry my water bottle almost everywhere to avoid dehydration. So, early this week, my water bottle finally gave in (after a heavy usage, flipping the cap open and close for umpteenth time in a day). I saw this “create your own tumbler” tumbler during the open campus at my school the other day and decided to purchase one myself. I was thinking of designing something with a ring of summer and I don’t know why but I always relate star gazing with summer. So here goes the constellation tumbler (with a little magic!) Pocky Memo Box

DIY Tutorial: Pocky Memo Box | @onelmon

Nothing beats the feeling of coming home after being away for some time. It feels great to be able to gather with the family and eat all the food you have been missing for (my to-do list whenever I visit a place always has something to do with food). So here I am, back home from Japan for a short holiday before the new term starts next month and I bought a few boxes of Pocky sticks with different flavors that are not available in my hometown with me (not the one I used for this tutorial, strawberry flavor is one of the most basic flavors). I love Pocky’s box packaging and thought that it could make a great memo box. Continue reading

Toilet Roll Pencil Case with Felt

Did you guys realize that it has been quite some time since my last sewing post? I know I have been playing around these few months, experimenting with different materials and totally forgotten about improving my sewing skill. So, I’m back today with sewing and felt and a little bit of recycling idea. Continue reading
