Today’s post is more like a tip rather than a craft. Do you use sandpaper a lot when you are making your artwork or craft? I recently use it a lot and I was taught how to make sanding easier so that you won’t hurt your finger… and the sandpaper. The trick is really simple, you just need to paste your sandpaper onto something flat. But as I think it’s a bit hard to hold, I add a handle to it so I can use it even easier. Here goes your sanding brush!
Semoga bermanfaat!
What you need | Yang anda butuhkan:
- Sanding paper | Kertas pasir;
- Clothes hook, curtain tieback or drawer knob | Cantolan baju, gantungan gorden atau tombol laci;
- Pen knife or scissors | Cutter atau gunting;
- Double sided tape (if needed) | Selotip dua sisi (bila dibutuhkan);
- Small piece of wooden block (if needed) | Potongan papan kayu kecil (bila dibutuhkan);
- Glue (if needed) | Lem (bila dibutuhkan).
Step 1:
I got myself this plastic curtain tieback and it comes with a tape at the back so I just need to take the seal off. Note: If you are using a drawer knob, you can get a small piece of wooden board, paste a double sided tape on one side and glue the knob on the other side.
Langkah 1:
Step 2:
Stick your sandpaper.
Langkah 2:
Rekatkan kertas pasir anda.
Step 3:
Cut accordingly.
Langkah 3:
Potong sesuai bentuk cantolan atau papan anda.
And there you go! You can also use this technique to sand round objects without having your sandpaper getting folded or creased :)
