Hello October! Wow, I can’t believe we are just 3 months away from the New Year! Time flies so fast! By the end of this month, we are celebrating Halloween and I thought I would like to start the month with a Halloween-inspired craft. Here goes the toothpicks broom!
Halo Oktober! Waktu mengalir begitu cepat dan tanpa disadari tahun 2014 akan berakhir dalam waktu 3 bulan! Ceritanya akhir bulan ini, kita akan merayakan Halloween dan saya pikir saya ingin memulai bulan ini dengan membuat craft bertema Halloween. Kali ini kita akan membuat sapu penyihir dari tusuk gigi!

– Pumpkin cat
– Sewing spider
– Paper pumpkin treats bowl
What you need | Yang anda butuhkan:
- Wooden plate (for base) | Alas kayu (untuk dasar);
- Wooden sticks | Stik kayu;
- Wooden rings | Ring kayu;
- Toothpicks | Tusuk gigi;
- Drill | Mesin bor;
- Wood glue | Lem kayu;
- [optional] ribbon | pita.
Step 1:
Make sure that the wooden stick could go through the ring. The donut hole on my wooden ring is too small for the stick, so I enlarge it with some drilling and sanding.
Langkah 1:
Pastikan stik anda dapat melewati lubang ring kayu anda. Karena lubang pada ring saya terlalu kecil untuk stiknya, saya memperbesar ukurannya dengan mesin bor dan kertas pasir.
Step 2:
Drill more holes on the ring plate. About the size of your toothpick’s diameter.
Langkah 2:
Buat beberapa lubang lagi pada permukaan ringnya dengan ukuran sebesar diameter tusuk gigi anda.
Step 3:
Glue the stick with the plate on the big base plate. Let it dry.
Langkah 3:
Rekatkan stik pada alas. Biarkan kering.
Step 4:
Insert the toothpicks!
Langkah 4:
Masukkan tusuk giginya!
Tie a ribbon on it if you’d like to and that’s it! You’ve made your toothpicks broom!
Beri pita bila anda suka dan selesailah sapu tusuk gigi anda!
