Glow in the Dark – Constellation Tumbler

DIY Tutorial: Glow in the dark - Constellation Tumbler | @onelmon

Hi there! Finally, it’s summer here and I can definitely feel the heat these days. I sweat like crazy and carry my water bottle almost everywhere to avoid dehydration. So, early this week, my water bottle finally gave in (after a heavy usage, flipping the cap open and close for umpteenth time in a day). I saw this “create your own tumbler” tumbler during the open campus at my school the other day and decided to purchase one myself. I was thinking of designing something with a ring of summer and I don’t know why but I always relate star gazing with summer. So here goes the constellation tumbler (with a little magic!) Human Bookmark

DIY Tutorial: Human Bookmark | @onelmon

Judging from the title, you know I’m going to bring back two things that I love the most, photo and bookmark! I think my obsession to bookmark has increased in a ridiculous pace lately because I kept thinking of making more and more (the number of books I read can’t even catch up with them). Nevertheless, I made another one again this week with a more unique and personal touch on it! Scroll down to see how to make one for yourself too! Continue reading

Snapshot Necklace

DIY Tutorial: Snapshot Necklace | @onelmon

A few days ago I saw a lady wearing a cartoon character necklace in the station and I thought it was kinda cute. But hey, why not make it funnier and more fun by using a real image of a person instead? I have 2 sisters that are very fond of doing jumping shots and I thought those shots could work well for this accessory. Of course you can use a standing (still) photo of yours but I think a shot with two hands up or any other gestures would make cuter necklaces. Let’s jump to the easy how-to!

Spring Bookmark

DIY Tutorial: Spring Bookmark | @onelmon

As a proud bookworm, I’ll never get enough of bookmarks, which is one reason why I’m still not getting myself a kindle ;-) To welcome the spring (and match the atmosphere), I made this flowery bookmark this week. I so wanted to use real flowers for this but I’ve yet to learn the alchemy on how to prevent flowers from wilting so thank you plastic flower for being here to fill the gap. I bought a stick of sakura (with a few branches and flowers in different sizes) which is now on sale because the blooming session is almost over. So, are your ready to prettify your book with some flowers? Continue reading

Pocky Memo Box

DIY Tutorial: Pocky Memo Box | @onelmon

Nothing beats the feeling of coming home after being away for some time. It feels great to be able to gather with the family and eat all the food you have been missing for (my to-do list whenever I visit a place always has something to do with food). So here I am, back home from Japan for a short holiday before the new term starts next month and I bought a few boxes of Pocky sticks with different flavors that are not available in my hometown with me (not the one I used for this tutorial, strawberry flavor is one of the most basic flavors). I love Pocky’s box packaging and thought that it could make a great memo box. Continue reading
