(1) Bans the sale of personal use, gasoline cars valued at more than $50K
(2) Increases the use tax by 2.5% on $50K gas cars purchased outside Palo Alto and subsequently registered in Palo Alto
Time is running out
Its time to Step up the fight against climate change
Other countries have plans to ban the sale of gas cars decades from now. That is unacceptable. We need to start phasing in green technologies as they are developed, not decades after.
